There is plenty to see and do after dark in Rarotonga, particularly on a Friday night!

One of the best ways to find out which 'establishment' you might like to spend more time at is to go on a good old fashioned 'pub crawl'. (Pacific Resort Rarotonga runs a pub crawl each weekend.)
The night life really kicks in after 9pm, and the crawl usually starts off at the Tumumu, where "Eric the Mad" -a Welshman - is particularly good at entertaining.
The Golf Club is next on the list, followed by a visit to the RSA to pick up your Tiare Maori flower.
You wear it behind your right ear if married or behind your left ear if you're single!
The largest Steinlager beers on the island are served at the next stop, which is the Coco Bar, before heading off to the Fishing Club for a tall glass and taller tales.
The Hideaway Bar is next on the tour, followed by BC where you can really get a taste for tropical cocktails.

| Trader Jacks' is next - a very poular watering hole right perched right on the oceanfront in Avarua. Then it's off to the Staircase for a bit of Karaoke and a chance to dance the night away.
If you have any energy left, The Rock Bar and TJ's nightclub will really round your night off.
Sunny days, balmy evenings, cool drinks and great, fun company - what more could you ask for!
